Privacy Policy

This policy explains what InkFactory collects, why, and who we share it with. In short: we collect what's needed to run your account and render your consults, we use trusted processors, and we don't sell your data.

1. Information we collect

• Account data — your email address and authentication details.
• Consult & design data — the consult briefs, style and mood settings, and generated concepts and try-on renders you create, so we can sync them to your account across devices.
• Photos you upload — three kinds, all uploaded by you: a client's photo used to render the on-skin try-on, a reference image the photo-reading feature turns into an editable brief, and portfolio images you submit to train your style profile. Photos are processed by our AI providers solely to produce your output, and renders you save are stored in your account gallery. You are responsible for having the client's permission before uploading their photo. We never use your photos to train models for anyone else.
• Usage data — counts of renders and feature usage, used for billing limits and improving the service.
• Billing data — your subscription status and plan. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe, our payment processor — not by us.
• Technical data — basic device/browser information and logs needed to operate and secure the service. We use browser local storage to keep you signed in and remember your settings. Our public website records anonymous page-view counts with no cookies and no personal identifiers.

2. How we use it

• To provide the service: authenticate you, generate concepts, render on-skin try-ons and stencils, and sync your work.
• To bill you and enforce plan limits.
• To send account and service emails (e.g., sign-in confirmation, receipts, important notices).
• To secure, debug, and improve the service.

3. Service providers we share with

We use trusted third parties to run InkFactory. Your data is shared with them only as needed to provide the service:

These providers process data under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored with our hosting and database providers and protected by access controls that scope your data — including uploaded photos and saved renders — to your account. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information and will notify you of a breach as required by law.

5. Your rights

You can access and update your account information in the app, and delete saved designs and photos from your gallery. You may request a copy or deletion of your personal data by emailing us — including deletion of a specific client's photo on their behalf. Deleting your account removes your synced consult and design data; some records (e.g., billing history) may be retained where required by law.

6. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

7. Children

InkFactory is a business tool intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. International users

InkFactory is operated from the United States and your data is processed there. By using the service you consent to that transfer and processing.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date and, where appropriate, notice in the app or by email.
